Zach Braff will headline a remake of 'Cheaper By the Dozen' in the works at Disney+. He'll star opposite Gabrielle Union.

The film will centre on a multiracial, blended family of twelve, as its members navigate their busy home life and run a family business.

Kenya Barris, best-known as the creator of the 'Black-ish', co-wrote the script and will produce it.

Gail Lerner, who worked with Barris on 'Black-ish, will direct.

The original 'Cheaper by the Dozen' hit cinemas in 1950.

The first remake in 2003 was a box office success starring Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt as the parents of the Baker family.

Zach Braff is best-known for playing J.D. on the hit medical sitcom 'Scrubs'.

The series is one of many titles headed for Star on Disney+ in late February.

This isn't the only classic live-action title Disney is looking to remake.

They've also got a 'Honey, I Shrunk the Kids' reboot with Rick Moranis and Josh Gad called 'Shrunk' on the way.

They're remaking 'Three Men and a Baby' with Zac Efron too.

'Cheaper by the Dozen' hits Disney+ sometime in 2022.
