The Tim Burton production looks like it'll be a creepy treat for fans this spooky season.

Still bearing a "coming soon" release date, the 'Wednesday Addams' series on Netflix has released a first-look teaser trailer which introduces us to this brand-new and contemporary iteration of the famed family.

Headed up by Jenna Ortega ('Scream 5') as the titular sadistic character, Wednesday, the series will follow the teenager after she gets whisked away to a boarding school for those who are less than ordinary. And the reason why she gets expelled from her public high school? Well, we won't spoil it for you - check it out in the trailer below.

Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán and Isaac Ordonez will play Wednesday's kooky family Morticia, Gomez and Pugsly; meanwhile Gwendoline Christie ('Game of Thrones' and 'The Sandman') and original actor of Wednesday Addams from the popular '90s films, Christina Ricci, also joins the cast in a mysterious role. As we can see in the trailer, Christie's character Larissa Weems looks to be having quite a frightful time with the new arrival at school.

Here's the 'Wednesday Addams' trailer in all of its deranged glory.

The series is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday's attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.

'Wednesday Addams' is "coming soon" to Netflix.
