The biggest documentary series to come out of Netflix is back next month - and it's gone all showbiz on us.

We thought the mayhem was over, but apparently, we’ve only scratched the surface. According to Netflix, and judging from the trailer for the series below, 'Tiger King 2' will be bigger and more eye-opening than the first series.

In September we were given a brief tease as to what we can expect from the return of Joe Exotic, Carole Baskin, Jeff Lowe in the forthcoming season, but now we've got a much better look at what the series is going to deliver.

As you can see in the trailer below, we're going to get a deep dive into the man that is the mulleted country singer Joe Exotic, with photos from his childhood years dispersed amongst previously unseen footage and up-to-date dialogue from his new life in prison.

Carole Baskin also features prominently in the new footage released from Netflix. The activist and Big Cat Rescue CEO is not a fan of the docuseries, having taken endless swipes at how the show has framed her in the past.

So, what new information will be shed on Joe Exotic and company on this second go-around that we don't already know? Here's hoping the follow-up is just as trashy and binge-worthy as it was the first time back in March 2020.

The official logline from Netflix is as follows: With Joe Exotic behind bars and Carole Baskin closing in on ownership of his disreputable zoo, the Emmy-nominated saga continues its twisted course with Tiger King 2 as newfound revelations emerge on the motivations, backstories, and secrets of America’s most notorious big cat owners. Old enemies and frenemies, including Jeff Lowe, Tim Stark, Allen Glover, and James Garretson return for another season of murder, mayhem, and madness. Thought you knew the whole story? Just you wait.

Here's the trailer.

'Tiger King 2' arrives on Netflix on Wednesday, November 17.
