Another trailer has arrived for season 2 of 'The Morning Show'. It hints further at what's in store for the characters.

The trailer opens with Cory Ellison (Billy Crudup) begging Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston) to return to The Morning Show.

We then get our first look at new cast member Will Arnett in the role of Doug.

It would seem that the pandemic will also feature as part of the season 2 storyline. Systemic racism in the industry will also be addressed.

Tensions remain high as Alex and fellow host Bradley Jackson (Reese Witherspoon) try to navigate this new on set atmosphere they're responsible for.

According to the official synopsis: "Picking up after the explosive events of Season 1, this season finds the Morning Show team emerging from the wreckage of Alex and Bradley’s actions, to a new UBA and a world in flux, where identity is everything, and the chasm between who we present and who we really are comes into play."

Steve Carell pops up as Mitch Kessler, who was fired as co-host of The Morning Show last season. Mark Duplass in the role of Chip, also recently fired, gets a look in too.

Julianna Margulies, meanwhile, looks like she's going to stir things up, playing journalist Laura Peterson.

Season 2 of 'The Morning Show' debuts on Apple TV+ on September 17th.
