The sixth and final season of the hit semi-biographical series on Netflix has discovered the actors who will play two very prominent members of The Royal Family.

'The Crown' season six has cast its Prince William and Kate Middleton, a season that will be the most contemporary (and final) snapshot of life inside Buckingham Palace (and Windsor Castle, The Palace of Holyroodhouse in Scotland etc...).

The young actors that have been cast in the role of Prince William are 16-year-old Rufus Kampa and 21-year-old Ed McVey, who are both set to play the first-born son of Charles and Diana. Both are new talents relatively unknown with no credits to their names as of yet.

Similarly, Meg Bellamy, who will play a young Kate Middleton, is also a new talent that we'll first see on-screen in the Netflix drama. Presumedly, we'll get to see how the future married couple first met in 2001 while both attending St. Andrews University in Scotland.

Middleton famously said she "went bright red" and "scuttled off, feeling very shy" after meeting the young prince for the first time.

Here are the headshots of 'The Crown' season six cast members playing Prince William and Kate Middleton.

And here's another look at 'The Crown' newbies, courtesy of Variety, who broke the casting news today. There's been no news on other casting announcements (so don't hold your breath we'll get to see Meghan Markle in the series). Dominic West's son Senan will play a young Prince William in season five.

According to the publication, all three actors have varied levels of stage and film experience, but 'The Crown' season six will mark their very first entry into the world of television and film. Production on the final season of the show will begin this autumn.

Before all of this, however, we've got season five of 'The Crown' to look forward to. Due for release this November, the return of one of Netflix's biggest shows will feature an all-new cast of Royals; Imelda Staunton will lead as Queen Elizabeth II, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, Dominic West is Prince Charles and Elizabeth Debicki will be Princess Diana.
