We've chosen eight exciting movies and TV shows that will keep you busy all this May.

Star on Disney+ launched back in February, meaning that we were gifted with an onslaught of fabulously fresh TV shows such as 'Big Sky', 'Black-ish', and 'Love, Victor', as well as classic movies like 'Good Morning Vietnam', 'The Devil Wears Prada', and 'Braveheart'.

Each and every week since then, many more new titles have been added to the catalogue, including our choices below. Here are eight picks you're going to want to tune into.

'Nomadland'

If Oscar-winning movies are your jam, then 'Nomadland' is the one for you. Starring Frances McDormand as a wanderer who journeys across western America in her run-down van, the drama has been achieving high acclaim from both critics and audiences alike. Poignant and thought-provoking, this is one of the must-see films of the year and recently won three Oscars, including Best Picture.

'Grey’s Anatomy' Season 16

'Grey's Anatomy' has been a TV favourite ever since it debuted all the way back in 2005. The sixteenth season of the medical drama from Shondaland features the milestone 350th episode, and there's also a nice little cameo reference to an old character too - you're just going to have to tune in to see who it is.

'Grown-ish' Season 1 - 3

Imagine the quirkiness of 'Black-ish' and aim it at a slightly younger demographic, and that's exactly what we have here in the highly-regarded 'Grown-ish'. Navigating college life is hard, and in this 'Black-ish' spin-off series we follow Zoey Johnson as she begins her hilarious yet eye-opening journey to adulthood.

'Family Guy' Seasons 1 - 18

There's a reason 'Family Guy' has remained on our screens for so long - it's too darned funny. The most dysfunctional family you'll ever meet is made up of Peter, Lois, Stewie, Chris, Brian and... are we missing someone? The first 18 seasons of the animated sitcom is available on Star with Disney+ right now. Oh, yes, Meg! Poor Meg gets the brunt of so many jokes on the show.

'Filthy Rich'

Kim Cattrall in a TV series? Yes, please. She might not be heading back to a 'Sex and the City' revival, but that's okay with us because we have her all to ourselves in 'Filthy Rich'. Based on the New Zealand series of the same name, this southern gothic dramedy revolves around two strong, sharp women who will go to any length to protect their loved ones.

'Solar Opposites' Season 2

Chances are, you are already very familiar with 'Rick and Morty', and so 'Solar Opposites' hails from the same co-creators Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan. The second series of the adult animation follows our five main alien characters once again, as they attempt to leave this truly awful planet they crash-landed on, Earth.

'Father of the Bride' 1 & 2

Time for a classic throwback we reckon. If you're looking for a movie franchise to watch back-to-back, what could be better than the hilarious Steve Martin freaking out over how grown up his daughter has become? 'Father of the Bride' sees his character get to grips with his daughter's wedding, while the follow-up has him tackle her (and his wife, played by Diane Keaton) having a baby.

'New Girl' Seasons 1 - 7 (Arriving May 7)

All seven seasons of 'New Girl' will be in one place this May. Starring Zooey Deschanel as the uber quirky teacher Jess, her character makes the big move to LA where she ends up living with three men in an apartment. Hilarity ensues as all of their lives become intertwined, with romantic relationships seeming to cause all of the biggest drama.
