Charles, Oliver and Mabel will be back earlier than expected - here's our first look at what season two has in store for us.

'Only Murders In The Building' season two hits our screens this summer, and Hulu/Disney+ have dropped a fresh teaser to whet our true-crime podcast appetites.

The Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez murder mystery series was a welcome addition to our screens during the second half of 2021, blending a whodunnit concept within a comedy series featuring two heavyweights of the genre. Plus, there was a hell of a lot of cameo appearances, which is part of the reason we're looking forward to season two so much.

Last Friday evening, the 'Only Murders In The Building' season two release date was dropped, along with a gag from the main trio in a GCI elevator from The Arconia.

The official synopsis for the new season is as follows, which features spoilers from part one: Following the shocking death of Arconia Board President Bunny Folger, Charles, Oliver and Mabel race to unmask her killer. However, three (unfortunate) complications ensue - the trio is publicly implicated in Bunny's homicide, they are now the subjects of a competing podcast, and they have to deal with a bunch of New York neighbours who all think they committed murder.

Cara Delevingne and Amy Schumer, two of the new cast members for season two, also appear briefly in the teaser. Delevingne will play a character named Alice, who appears to get close to Gomez' Mabel. Schumer will join Shirley MacLaine as a guest star in the season.

The Hulu Original, which streams on Disney+ this side of the Atlantic, will begin on the same day as our neighbours over in the States - one of the first times a TV series will do so for Irish and UK viewers. 'The Kardashians' will also premiere on the same date here and in the US, kicking off on April 14.

Here's the teaser.

'Only Murders In The Building' season two begins on Disney+ on June 28.
