Yes, it's a bit early to be talking about the festive season but in case you're wondering what flicks you will be watching on Netflix over the Christmas, the streaming service have announced they have three new Original Films on the way.

The first is a sequel to last year's much talked about 'A Christmas Prince' which will land on the streaming service on November 30th. Called 'A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding' it will focus on, well, you guessed it, Amber (Rose McIver) and Prince Richard's (Ben Lamb) nuptials. It will see their plans rocked by a "political crisis that threatens to tarnish not only the holiday season, but the future of the kingdom" while Amber also worries if she is ready to be queen.

The second film on the way is another royals-based movie called 'The Princess Switch'. It will see Vanessa Hudgens playing two roles as the story follows Margaret, the Duchess of Montenaro, who magically swaps places with a commoner named Stacy (who happens to look just like her) a week before Christmas. Who doesn't love a classic body switch movie? 'The Princess Switch' arrives on Netflix on November 16th.

Finally, on November 2nd, you can watch 'The Holiday Calendar, which centers on a photographer (Kat Graham) who inherits an antique holiday advent calendar that appears to forecast the future.

Yes, these all sound cheesy as hell but they might be just the tonic this Christmas.

Last week, Netflix also announced another festive movie on the way starring none other than Kurt Russell as Santa Claus and from the producer of 'Home Alone' Chris Columbus. Called 'The Christmas Chronicles', it will arrive on the streaming service on November 22nd.

It tells the story of sister and brother, Kate (Darby Camp) and Teddy Pierce (Judah Lewis), whose Christmas Eve plan to catch Santa Claus on camera turns into an unexpected journey that most kids could only dream about. After staking out Santa’s arrival, they sneak into his sleigh, cause it to crash and nearly derail Christmas. As their wild night unfolds, Kate and Teddy work together with Santa - ("as you've never seen him before") - and his loyal Elves to save Christmas before it's too late.
