The name of the 2019 tour is "Inside 'Making A Murderer' Part 2 - False Confessions."

Its leaders, Laura Nirider and Steven Drizin, have worked tirelessly in their defense of Dassey. Dassey's case and post-conviction process captivated audiences worldwide in the show 'Making a Murderer'.

The lawyers featured highly in season two of 'Making a Murderer'.

In the season, a federal judge in 2016 ruled that Dassey was coerced into making a confession and thus ordered him to be freed. However, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals blocked the order and upheld Dassey's conviction in December 2017.

In the 'In Conversation', Nirider and Drizin will discuss coerced and false confessions, as well as interrogation tactics. The pair will explain the intriguing and complicated world of criminal law. Above all, focus will fall on the wrongful conviction of Brendan Dassey and the lawyers' involvement in his ongoing appeal.

Nirider and Drizin hit the road in June 2019. The tour includes stopovers in Dublin's Vicar Street on the 3rd, Cork Opera House (4th), Dolans in Limerick (5th), Ulster Hall in Belfast (6th) and the Black Box in Galway (8th).

Meanwhile, Avery's lawyer, Kathleen Zellner, who is also renowned for 'Making a Murderer' season 2, recently tweeted that she has new evidence she claims will prove Steven Avery's innocence.
