The full trailer for the series remake of the acclaimed vampire horror 'Let the Right One In' has dropped.

Raising kids can be incredibly tough. But, just imagine what it would be like if that kid was also a blood-slurping vampire. Oh, and they also remain a child seemingly forever? Well, they're the type of parenting issues the 'Let the Right One in' trailer highlights.

The story follows Mark (Damián Bichir) and his daughter Eleanor (Madison Taylor Baez) whose lives were changed forever 10 years earlier when she was turned into a vampire.

Seemingly frozen in time at the age of 12, Eleanor has lived a closed-in life, able to go out only at night, while her father does his best to provide her with the human blood she needs to stay alive. Now they’ve returned home to New York City, desperate to find a cure.

'Let the Right One In' is based on the 2004 novel by Swedish author John Ajvide Lindqvist that inspired the acclaimed 2008 Swedish film of the same name.

The story also inspired an actually decent English language remake 'Let Me In' in 2010 starring Chloe Grace Moretz, as well as a stage play.

The trailer for the upcoming series looks to expand the lore from the original and give a new spin on it. We like the look of it too, so here's hoping it's got a bit of bite to it.

'Penny Dreadful' alum Ansrew Hinderaker serves as the showrunner, executive producer, and writer for the series. Seith Mann will direct several episodes and co-executive produce with Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, and Alissa Bachner.

'Let the Right One in' premieres on Showtime in the US and Paramount+ in Ireland and the UK. The first season contains 10 episodes, which will release weekly.
