Like fellow streaming service Disney Plus, Netflix is getting in on the popularity of superheroes with 'Jupiter's Legacy'.
'Jupiter's Legacy' comes from comic book writer Mark Millar.
Millar is known for his work on the comics 'The Ultimates', 'Civil War', 'Superman: Red Son' and 'Wolverine: Old Man Logan'.
'Civil War' and 'Logan' both became movies.
Ditto for Millar's publications 'Wanted', 'Kick-Ass' and 'Kingsman: The Secret Service'.
'Jupiter's Legacy' was first published as a comic book series in 2013.
Netflix announced they'd given it a series order in summer 2018.
Reads the official Netflix synopsis: "After nearly a century of keeping mankind safe, the world's first generation of superheroes must look to their children to continue the legacy.
"But tensions rise as the young superheroes, hungry to prove their worth, struggle to live up to their parents' legendary public reputations — and exacting personal standards."
'Jupiter’s Legacy' stars Josh Duhamel, Leslie Bibb, Ben Daniels, Elena Kampouris, Andrew Horton, Mike Wade, Matt Lanter and Ian Quinlan.
It drops on Netflix on May 7th.
