Prime Video have released the trailer for the ambitious new six-part scripted series 'Jungle'.

'Jungle' follows the connected lives of several strangers, each facing their own struggle. Viewed through the prism of UK rap and drill music, it gives a perspective on an often unseen world.

The logline reads: "Frequently misunderstood, it’s a world where one law governs everything: only the strongest will survive. As the strangers’ worlds begin to unravel around them, they come to the realisation that every action, no matter how small, has a consequence."

The series will be told through a unique blend of music and dialogue, working alongside creatively ambitious cinematography and design to create a tilted, timeless version of today’s London and bring to life a compelling and complex narrative.

Portraying the city through compelling visuals, 'Jungle' details the many perils and dangers involved in day to day life in Inner City London.

From the trailer, we see a neon soaked, futuristic version of the city. The striking visuals look like a mix between 'Top Boy' and 'Blade Runner'. We're looking forward to what looks like a very unique series.

'Jungle' will feature some of the UK’s top drill and rap artists. They include are Tinie Tempah, Big Narstie, Unknown T, Jordan McCann, Jaykae, IAMDDB, Double Lz, Bandokay and M24. Ezra Elliot, Nadia A'Rubea and RA also star.

The Creators and Executive Producers are Junior Okoli and Chas Appeti. The duo go by the moniker 'Nothing Lost'.

"'Jungle' will shine a light on the amazing creativity of the U.K.’s drill, grime and rap music scenes," said Georgia Brown, director of European Amazon Originals for Prime Video.

She also added that the series will "hopefully empower a varied collection of British storytellers to create captivating content which reflects the diversity of the UK today."
