'Indiana Jones' is the latest TV adaptation of a film series to go into development, with Disney+ reportedly working on bringing the character made famous by Harrison Ford to their streaming service.

However, don't expect to see Ford in the small-screen adaptation; the 80-year-old actor has categorically ruled himself out of any further Indie stories, following his final turn as the iconic adventurer in forthcoming film 'Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny'.

Speaking to Total Film, he said :“This is the final film in the series, and this is the last time I’ll play the character. I anticipate that it will be the last time that he appears in a film."

Ford added that he was aware of the TV series in development, but he "will not be involved in that, if it does come to fruition."

They Disney+ series has not been confirmed yet, but according to reports late last year, Disney and Lucasfilm were looking for a writer for the project.

In the meantime, 'Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny' will be released in cinemas on June 30th.
