The next big Marvel Cinematic Universe release hits screens this Thursday, and judging from most of the reaction online, we're in for a different sort of MCU treat this time around.

Early 'She-Hulk' reaction is painting the series as Marvel's first all-out foray into comedy, which is sure to pique some interest in the character.

Headed up by Tatiana Maslany as the titular character, the series also stars MCU actors Mark Ruffalo, Benedict Wong, Tim Roth and Charlie Cox. Joining the franchise for the first time are Jameela Jamil as baddie Titania, plus Ginger Gonzaga and Josh Segarra in supporting roles.

As you can see from the early reaction to the first four episodes of the series which were sent out to press before release (but only one episode will be released weekly, FYI), the majority of viewers really warmed to this bold new direction for the Disney+ series.

"Energetic", "comedic gold", "relatable", "smart" and "sharp" writing are all positive words that were thrown around by viewers, while others thought the series is a "misfire" and another thought that Hulk still isn't being handled right.

Here's the final trailer for the series, which features another new look at Charlie Cox's Daredevil making his big return to Marvel.

Take it from us - we liked what we saw of Tatiana Maslany in 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law'. Watch out for our review of the first four episodes of the series on site tomorrow (Wednesday).

Judge the series for yourself when it begins on Disney+ with episode one on Thursday, August 18.
