Disney+ don't mind whether you've been naughty or nice this year, because they've got some stellar content for everyone all month long.

We don't know about you, but we feel like slapping our hands to our cheeks and screaming like Kevin McCallister from 'Home Alone' as we begin the countdown to the big day. With Christmas just around the corner, Disney+ has a festive feast for those who want to escape from the manic present buying and the freezing weather outside; there are plenty of new movie and TV arrivals to keep everyone in the family merry and bright this season.

All year long, the streaming service has gifted us some incredible content; we've had new Marvel series, beginning with 'WandaVision'; Disney and Pixar's cute coming-of-age animation 'Luca'; the incredibly successful comedy 'Vacation Friends'; the gripping true-crime drama series 'Dopesick'; and even Peter Jackson's juggernaut documentary, 'The Beatles: Get Back'.

Here are seven other new releases that you should add to your watchlist for this December.

'Hawkeye'

Marvel is going out with a bang in its final series of the year. 'Hawkeye' sees Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton once again pick up his trusty bow and arrow to help stop an underground crime ring, all while joining forces with MCU newcomer Kate Bishop and their trusty sidekick, Lucky the Pizza Dog. Will Barton be able to wrap everything up in a festive bow and make it home to his family in time for Christmas?

Catch up on the latest 'Hawkeye' episodes now before the season finale arrives on Disney+ on December 22.

'Jungle Cruise'

Join Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson as they journey through the vast and wonderous South American Amazon in search of an ancient tree with magical powers. Of course, not everything goes exactly to plan for the adventures and their search gets flipped upside-down (and every other possible way) as a group of rogue mercenaries join in on the action.

One of the most enjoyable summer blockbusters of the year, 'Jungle Cruise' is available to all Disney+ subscribers right now.

'The Last Duel'

One for the adults of the household only, 'The Last Duel' is the dramatic period release from award-winning director Ridley Scott. Starring Ben Affleck, Adam Driver, Jodie Comer and Matt Damon (who put Dalkey on the map while filming was halted), the storyline sees the same story play out from three different perspectives, delivering a complex and powerful film about a forgotten moment in history.

A new addition to Disney+ this December, 'The Last Duel' can be streamed now.

'Olaf Presents'

And now for something completely different. One for the kiddies of the household (and the big ones, we won't judge), is this wonderful retelling of classic Disney tales - Olaf style. The 'Frozen' star has embarked on his very own short animation series, which sees the ever-chipper snowman recreate movies such as 'The Lion King' and 'Moana' in his own unique way with his delightful abbreviated versions of these beloved tales.

All five episodes are available to stream on Disney+ right now.

'Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings'

Introducing a brand new superhero into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in breathtaking fashion is 'Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings'. Action-packed and steeped in wonderful Chinese traditions and legends, it will be interesting to see what direction Simu Lui and Awkwafina's characters can take the franchise as we eagerly await the next batch of blockbuster arrivals in the new year.

'Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings' is available to all Disney+ subscribers right now.

'Only Murders In The Building'

If you haven't already watched 'Only Murders In The Building', you are certainly missing out. The best whodunnit of the year, the first series sees best friends (in real life) Steve Martin and Martin Short team up with Selena Gomez, as the three crime podcast-loving characters attempt to unravel a murder in their swanky NYC apartment building. Full of mystery, satire, incredible cameos and lots of hummus, we loved the series so much that it made it onto our top 10 TV shows of 2021.

Don't dilly-dally, the entire first season can be streamed on Disney+ now.

'The Book Of Boba Fett'

Finally, we've left the most highly anticipated arrival on Disney+ this December till the very last. 'The Book Of Boba Fett' is the first spin-off series from 'The Mandalorian', which will continue the storyline of the fan-favourite bounty hunter (played by Temuera Morrison) and his right-hand assassin Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen). Promising to be the darkest live-action 'Star Wars' series yet, this is one series we cannot wait to see unfold.

The first episode of this seven-part series will premiere when we're stuck in limbo between Christmas Day and New Year's Day, on December 29.
