The official trailer for 'Coming 2 America' has been released by Amazon Prime, who will be debuting the much-anticipated sequel.

It is the follow-up to the 1988 comedy 'Coming to America'. 'Coming 2 America' (well, 'Coming to America 2' does sound a bit off) sees almost all the original cast members return.

Eddie Murphy returns not as Prince Akeem but rather King Akeem, ruler of the fictitious and luscious Zamunda.

His trusted advisor and friend Semmi (Arsenio Hall) is back too; and there's another trip for the besties to New York in store as they go looking for a son they never knew Akeem had.

Characters King Jaffe Joffer (James Earl Jones), Lisa (Shari Headley), Cleo McDowell (John Amos), Maurice (Louie Anderson) all make an appearance. Moreover, Murphy and Hall reprise their roles as the motley barbershop crew.

New additions to the cast include Wesley Snipes, Leslie Jones, Tracy Morgan, Jermaine Fowler, and Bella Murphy; there's also Rotimi, KiKi Layne, Nomzamo Mbatha and Teyana Taylor.

'Black-ish' creator Kenya Barris and 'Coming to America' screenwriters Barry W. Blaustein and David Sheffield penned the sequel. Craig Brewer directs.

'Coming 2 America' is skipping cinemas and arrives on Amazon Prime Video on March 5. Watch the trailer below.
