This afternoon, Netflix formally announced that 'Homecoming', the documentary following the 2018 Coachella performance, is headed to the streaming service on April 17th.

The performance at Coachella went viral throughout social media, and is hailed by Beyonce's fans as one of her most iconic performances. But more than that, the performance also kicked off Beyonce's Homecoming Scholar Awards Program on the same night.

The Netflix documentary has been rumoured for some time, however today saw official confirmation of the news as well as a confirmed date. It will also feature the full performance from Coachella, as well as behind-the-scenes footage and the aftermath and impact of the performance.
