Gosling heads up a fine cast which also includes Chris Evans, Billy Bob Thornton, Ana de Armas and Regé Jean Page (yer man from 'Bridgerton').

Netflix has dropped our first official look at 'The Gray Man', which is set for release this July.

The action blockbuster comes from directors The Russo Brothers (helmers of The Avengers movies 'Infinity War' and 'Endgame'), which is based on the popular novel by Mark Greaney (who is also on board as the writer).

The Netflix film sees Ryan Gosling star in the action caper as CIA operative Court Gentry AKA Sierra Six, who is now the main target for Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans), a former colleague of his at the CIA, due to him uncovering secrets that should have, er, been kept secret. And so, in order to escape his clutches and make it out alive, Six teams up with Agent Dani Miranda (Ana de Armas) for a globetrotting adventure.

Also joining the cast are Regé-Jean Page, Billy Bob Thornton, Jessica Henwick, Dhanush, Wagner Moura and Alfre Woodard.

Here's the trailer for Netflix's 'The Gray Man'.

'The Gray Man' is CIA operative Court Gentry (Ryan Gosling), aka, Sierra Six. Plucked from a federal penitentiary and recruited by his handler, Donald Fitzroy (Billy Bob Thornton), Gentry was once a highly-skilled, Agency-sanctioned merchant of death. But now the tables have turned and Six is the target, hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans), a former cohort at the CIA, who will stop at nothing to take him out. Agent Dani Miranda (Ana de Armas) has his back. He’ll need it.

'The Gray Man' is slated for a limited theatrical release on July 15, followed by its Netflix release on July 22.
