The cast of Netflix series 'GLOW' reunited this weekend. The get-together followed the news that the series has been cancelled.
As was the case with recent 'Mean Girls' reunion, the 'GLOW' reunion was to encourage voter registration. It was hosted in partnership with voting initiatives HeadCount and #GoodTovote.
Leads Alison Brie, Marc Maron and Betty Gilpin were back on the screen, even if it was via a zoom call on YouTube livestream, with other cast members.
They talked season 3 highlights as well as romances on the show and storylines that went unexplored.
Of course a big topic of conversation was the possibility of a movie to wrap up the series.
Maron suggested the idea on his Instagram and it has since gone viral.
The comedian noted: "I think there’s a petition out there and it would be a very exciting thing that Netflix could do it if they wanted to do it.
"I think it would probably solve the problem. It would be fun to do, it would be easy to do, but who the f**k knows what they’re going to do.
"I think it’s a great idea and I hope people rally enough behind it to raise the interests of the executives over there."
