Yoko Ono is to break her silence on her life with John Lennon, as she is preparing to write her autobiography.

76 year old Yoko plans to write the book over the next five years. She said "It will be my next book ... I would love to do it. I just have to find the time."

Yoko has never before revealed details of her relationship with the late Beatle, and has previously expressed concern that doing so might upset the other Beatles and their families as well as Lennon's previous wife, Cynthia. In a 2007 interview, Ono said "There are things that I can’t write because it may hurt someone. I think about how it might hurt (their) children, and I don’t want to do that."

Ono married Lennon in 1969, one year after his divorce from Cynthia, and lived with him and their son Sean until his death in 1980. Her autobiography is expected to disclose personal details of their relationship as well as addressing the accusation that she was responsible for breaking up the Beatles.
