Yo La Tengo and New Zealand band The Phoenix Foundation are among new acts announced for Dublin's new Forbidden Fruit festival, set to take place in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Kilmainham on June 4th and 5th.
The Irish Times' Jim Carroll reports that Irish acts Bitches With Wolves, Kid Karate, Spies and Bipolar Empire are also new to the bill. All of these new additions will play on Saturday June 4th, suggesting another bunch of acts will be announced for the Sunday soon enough. They will be joining headliners Flaming Lips and Aphex Twin as well as Wild Beasts, Battles and more on the weekend's line up.
