Yeasayer have announced a full tour for September, ending with a headline show at Dublin’s Button Factory on the 30th of September.
The Brooklyn band will release their new album Fragrant World in August on Mute, the follow up to 2010’s crossover hit Odd Blood. A new teaser track 'Henrietta' was made available last month, which BBC jock Zane Lowe awarded the title of 'hottest record in the world right now'.
Odd Blood was widely regarded as one of the best albums of 2010, hitting everyone’s end of year lists including NME, Mojo, Q, Uncut, The Fly and The Sunday Times. A hard act to follow, certainly, but initial reports on the new album suggest that it won't disappoint.
Tickets for the Button Factory show are on sale from Friday and are priced at €25.
