Former green cap wearer and X Factor winner (and all round nice guy) Matt Cardle has checked into rehab following an alleged struggle with temazepam and Valium. Cardle broke the news via his own Twitter profile, graciously thanking his fans for their continued support.
"I want to thank my fans for all your lovely messages of support... I'm getting myself better... I want to be ready to give it 110 per cent on tour next year. I love you all and will see you the other side."
It has been reported that Cardle will begin a 28 day programme of recovery at The Priory, a famous treatment centre that has become the go to place among celebrities.
