After various staggered announcements about their forthcoming album, Wilco have amused many with the announcement of its title. Keeping things simple the Chicago rockers' next release will be called "Wilco (The Album)."

In similarly drole style, the opening track is called "Wilco (The Song)," a "a great, upbeat song professing our love for our fans," according to drummer Glenn Kotche.

As previously announced, the album will feature eleven tracks including a collaboration with the lovely Leslie Feist, entitled "You and I". Feist also collaborates with the band on a cover of Woodie Guthrie's "The Jolly Banker," which can be downloaded here, in aid of the Woody Guthrie Foundation And Archives.

Wilco play Vicar St on August 27th.
