Whipping Boy are once again reforming for a performance at this summer's Vantastival festival at Dunany Estate, County Louth over the May bank holiday weekend.

The influential 90s rockers split before releasing their self-titled album, the last of three in their catalogue, in April 2000. They reformed briefly in 2005 for a series of live shows and will once again perform together live at the music festival for van owners and lovers.

Cork favourites The Frank and Walters have also been added to the bill, which already featured plenty of top Irish acts including Duke Special, The Cast of Cheers, Jamie Lawson, Wallis Bird and Sweet Jane.

Vantastival runs from Friday April 29th to Sunday May 1st 2011. Weekend tickets are priced €85 with day tickets at €40 or €30 for 14-17 year olds. For more info visit www.vantastival.com
