Wicklow native Andrew Hozier-Byrne, best known to us simply as Hozier, wowed a television audience in its millions last night where he played his song 'Take Me To Church' on the Late Show with David Letterman. Check out the stunning clip above.
The song has proved massively popular since its release on Hozier's EP seven months or so ago, garnering more than three million views on YouTube and earning seemingly endless radio play at home and abroad. Websites like Reddit have also been crucial in spreading the song to as wide an audience as possible.
Hozier is currently embarking on a US tour and has played incredibly well-received shows in Texas, New York and Los Angeles already and, with great publicity like the Letterman show behind him, it really seems like the sky is the limit for him.
