Tony Wright AKA VerseChorusVerse's debut long player will hit the shelves (physical and digital shelves, that is) on April 7th and it's been a long wait for both the musician and fans alike. The Northern Irishman has been a fixture on the Irish music scene for many a year now, in various capacities, and a listen to 'No More Years' will confirm that this has been worth the wait.

The self-titled record was recorded under the tutelage of Iain Archer, the man partially responsible for this Jake Bugg craze going on nowadays, and will follow 'The Inches EP' - a series of self-produced music videos one of which - 'Nothing Is Easy' - was nominated for an honour at the Limelight Short Film Awards in London.

'No More Years' will be released on February 24th next, which is also the date at which pre-sale begins for the full length record.

Speaking of the video, Tony told us at entertainment.ie: "It's a zero budget, blatant metaphor. With a couple of sci-fi fantasy nods in there, as I am a proud nerd. Also poking a bit of fun at all those singer songwriter vids in the woods. However, I do hold up my mucky hands, I've been guilty of doing those too. I'll probably do them again…"
