Released in 1997, Anastasia is a childhood classic for many and one of a handful of non-Disney animations that is truly magical and timeless.
The film follows a young girl named Anya in search of home and family, only to discover that she is the Grand Duchess Anastasia.
The music for the flick is gorgeous with the song ‘Journey to the Past’ being a favourite for many (though ‘Once Upon a December’ is definitely up there too).
Anastasia is now becoming a Broadway musical and final prep is well underway.
It’s due to hit Manhattan on April 24th 2017 and ahead of that, a special teaser for the musical, with vocals from its lead Christy Altomare, has been released:
