It's been a while since we've had a decent pop star beef (we blame Taylor Swift's absence from the scene. Hurry back, gurl.)

However, it looks like there may be trouble within the 1D camp, if Liam Payne's comments are anything to go by.

Having just released his debut solo single 'Strip That Down', Payne was asked about his former colleagues' solo output - and while he called Niall Horan's material 'great' and 'cool', it seems like he's not a fan of Harry Styles's stuff.

“I’ll be honest with you, it’s not my sort of music," he said. "It’s not something I’d listen to, but I think he did a great job of doing what he wanted to do. That’s the way I’d put it best, I think. I think the funny thing is, [Harry] would say the same thing about me because he doesn’t really listen to hip-hop music, whereas it’s like my song’s more [Tyga's] ‘Rack City’ and his song is more of a different era to something I’d listen to, I guess.”

Will Styles respond? Probably not - but it'd be great if he called Payne's song 'like something he recorded on his phone using an 'My First RnB Song' app'. Just us, then?
