Arctic Monkeys performed a rendition of Lou Reed's classic song 'Walk On The Wild Side' in tribute to the singer who died on Sunday at the age of 71. Watch the video below.

The song, released in 1972, is arguably one of the former Velvet Underground man's most celebrated songs and is currently one of several of his recordings currently rising in the iTunes download charts in the wake of his passing.

A host of acts have paid tribute to Reed on stage since the news of his death broke. Pearl Jam played a cover version of 'I'm Waiting For The Man', Twin Shadow recorded a version of 'Perfect Day' while My Morning Jacket, Neil Young, Elvis Costello, Jenny Lewis and more covered Reed's 'Oh! Sweet Nuthin' at a school benefit concert on the evening that Reed died.
