Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler made his feelings on the US presidential race known during an interview in Montreal recently.
The musician was taking part in a lecture at the Red Bull Music Academy when he let rip on Donald Trump, saying that the Republican candidate is "a complete fucking nightmare and a clown and a joke."
He also warned against people not voting and expressed his admiration for Hillary Clinton, saying she would be a "great" president. "It really is an extremely important election," he said. "You don't have to hang out with Hillary. But, Jesus Christ, vote for Hillary Clinton. Everyone register because it could not be heavier. The consequences could not be more dire."
Butler's comments follow on from Bono recently saying that Donald Trump could potentially be the 'worst idea to ever happen to America.'
