While the list of winners at the Grammys is usually a conversation-starter in itself, it's rare that a year goes by without at least one performance generating a stir.

Unlike 2017, however - when Adele flubbed her George Michael tribute and Lady Gaga's duet with Metallica went terribly wrong - there were no major mishaps during this year's ceremony.

This year's performers included an incredible political performance by Kendrick Lamar that opened the show - with interjections by comedian Dave Chapelle and U2 - an emotional Times's Up-themed performance of 'Praying' by Kesha (during which she was joined by Cyndi Lauper, Julia Michaels and more), a duet on 'Tiny Dancer' by Miley Cyrus and Elton John. There were also songs by U2 - who performed in front of the Statue of Liberty, Lady Gaga, Sam Smith, Logic, Little Big Town, Pink, Childish Gambino, DJ Khaled and Rihanna and others.
