You could safely assume that 50 Cent is no stranger to dropping the odd swear word into his music and/or conversation - but it backfired dramatically at a gig in St. Kitts and Nevis at the weekend.

The rapper was arrested for using 'indecent language' on the Caribbean island state, after he was hosting a gig at a music festival and decided to throw a few of his own songs into the mix.

Despite being warned against the use of bad language, he performed the un-clean version of his song 'P.I.M.P', the chorus of which goes:

'I don't know what you heard about me
But a b*tch can't get a dollar out of me
No Cadillac, no perms, you can't see
That I'm a motherf**king P-I-M-P"

Fiddy was due to depart St. Kitts on Sunday, but was detained until he appeared in court yesterday. He was free to go after paying a fine and a rep issued a statement saying "for future trips to St. Kitts he will leave the motherf****** in the United States".
