The longlist of unsigned artists in the new category of Most Promising New Artist 2010 at the Meteor Ireland Music Awards has been revealed. Among the many acts up for the award are The Chapters, The Brad Pitt Light Orchestra, Sweet Jane, The Minutes and Autoban.

The Meteor Ireland Music Awards take place at the RDS on February 19th. Tickets priced €40 are available from ticketmaster and usual outlets.
