Keith Hanley, this year's winner of the Voice of Ireland, has failed to translate his victory in chart success it seems. Hanley's single 'Beggin' has managed to peak at just number 37 in the charts, despite the huge viewing figures RTE bosses enjoyed during the Voice's airing.

Hanley's failure will come as a surprise to the show's producers who had tipped the Cork teenager to gain a respectable position in the charts, especially when you consider that last year's winner Pat Byrne managed to get to #3.

The show's four other finalists also released singles, with fourth placed Shannon Murphy coming in at #40 with 'Ho Hey' and Kelly Mongan all the way down at #67. Donegal's Shane McLaughlin, who came third in the show, failed to break the top 100.

Let us remind ourselves of how Hanley mangled Gnarls Barkley's 'Crazy' below...
