'Nothing Arrived', the second single from Villagers' upcoming album {Awayland}, will be released on January 11th next - the same day as the album is scheduled to hit the shelves.

The single will be familiar to anyone who has caught a live Villagers performance in recent months - such as last week's amazing Whelan's show - and, to this listener anyway, is among the best new material that the band has written. The video (scroll down), directed by Alden Volney (who also made the video for the previous single, 'The Waves'), documents a day in the life of one Terrence Bliss - a lonely office worker whose repetitive existence is momentarily disturbed.

{Awayland}
was produced and mixed at Attica Audio in Donegal by Conor J. O’Brien and Villagers’ guitarist Tommy McLaughlin, and is the follow-up to the band’s Mercury Award-nominated and Ivor Novello-winning debut, Becoming a Jackal.
