Having emerged from the rubble of The Immediate, Villagers have been tipped for the top ever since the release of Hollow Kind, their debut EP last February. Word of mouth grew from that of a whisper to a proclamation with every performance. It seems that the big boys have taken notice, too. Whispers suggest that Conor O'Brien and his Villagers have signed a deal with Domino Records and their debut album can't be far behind. Their future labelmates at Dominos will include Arctic Monkeys, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, Franz Ferdinand, Sons and Daughter, Dirty Projectors and Wild Beasts.
