After an incredibly busy 12 months since the release of their second album {Awayland}, Villagers have announced details of their last show of the year - and it sounds like something special.

The band will perform a special show at Vicar Street on Wednesday 18th December featuring s t a r g a z e, an orchestral ensemble of young musicians from Europe, after recently performing together at a sold-out show in The Hague's Royal Theatre.

s t a r g a z e are a network of classically trained musicians particularly versed in contemporary music, founded by the Berlin-based conductor André de Ridder.  The show will feature versions of Villagers' songs from the Becoming a Jackal and {Awayland} albums orchestrally arranged by Villagers’ keyboardist and composer Cormac Curran and the world renowned composer Nico Muhly.

Tickets for the show are available now via usual outlets nationwide.
