Although the Spice Girls reunion tour appears to have been a resounding success, there still remains the fact that it was missing one of the original members - Victoria Beckham, or Posh Spice.

While there appeared to be no public animosity between Posh and the other members of the world-beating pop group, Victoria Beckham explained her reasons for not wanting to take part in the tour in a recent interview with Vogue Germany. "It took me a lot of courage not to go on tour with the Spice Girls again, but to be the one who says: 'You know, I'm not doing it because things feel different now than they used to'. I'd rather concentrate on my family and my company. I'm 45 now and very happy to be the woman I am..."

Beckham's clothing company was launched in 2008, and has since helped to turn Beckham into a respected designer, even seeing a guest editorship of French Vogue. "I'm not trying to change, I want to be the best version of myself. Before I turned 40, I wasn't that confident. I learned to listen to my gut feeling," Beckham explained.

The reunion tour took in 13 dates across Ireland and England, and is understood to have had a combined revenue of up to €69 million with nearly 700,000 tickets sold. Despite all this, however, Beckham was happy apparently to sit out the tour - but she's not sitting out the animated movie that's due for release pretty soon.
