The latest batch of additions to the Electric Picnic line-up has just been revealed...and we think you'll LIKE!

Excellent live acts The Vaccines, Jape and And So I Watch You From Afar are among the names confirmed today to be appearing at the festival in Stradbally, Co. Laois on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of September.

The Vaccines have been hotly-tipped by many as ones-to-watch since making waves last summer, with their first single If You Wanna being hailed by easily excitable BBC jock Zane Lowe as "the hottest record in the world". To be fair to Lowe, it doesn't look like he was wrong as the Londoners garnered all sorts of award nominations in the past 12 months.

Jape's Richie Egan is no stranger to the Picnic having played there many times previously with Jape, or his other act, The Redneck Manifesto. The new Jape album Ocean of Frequency is set to hit the shelves in October.

Another band to be on the receiving end of Zane Lowe's enthusiastic praise are Belfast instrumental group (and one of the best live bands on the planet) And So I Watch You From Afar. Their second long-player Gangs was released earlier this year and it ensured ringing eardrums for anyone who's heard it.
