It's not unusual for bands to misplace the odd instrument, forget where they put the keys to their tour bus or even lose the odd member from time to time.
However, it's pretty rare that you see a request from bands to keep an eye out for a giant inflatable fire extinguisher.
Two Door Cinema Club put the call out to fans yesterday to keep an eye out for the large stage prop. It was allegedly stolen during a break-in at their lock-up in London.
The inflatable measures 35ft in length and was apparently made for the Northern Irish trio's forthcoming Glastonbury set.
URGENT - We have had a break in at our lock up near Gatwick, thankfully relatively little was stolen but we our missing a specific prop we had made in the US for Glastonbury which was delivered last week to our lock up. It's a pretty big inflatable fire extinguisher. Cont. pic.twitter.com/uP7ksgv5vU

Later, it was apparently spotted on eBay for£10,000 and the band encouraged people not to bid on it while they attempted to track it down. However, the seller's name (false_alarm) is a dead giveaway.
We've been sent this picture from a friend who's found our extinguisher on eBay!! Please do not bid for this item, as we are working with them to get it back in our possession #FindOurExtinguisher pic.twitter.com/vwO6l8zfYx

Given that the title of their new album (OUT TODAY!) is 'False Alarm', we're not buying it. Not for one second. Nice bit of marketing, though, lads...
