The 2Wheels Tour de Picnic fundraising cycle from Dublin to the hallowed grounds of Electric Picnic is taking place once again this year to help raise funds for the Temple Street children's hospital. Cyclists raised an astonishing quarter of a million in 2010 and the thousands of people taking part will be looking to break that record this year. On 2nd September 1,000 cyclists, who will have fundraised a minimum amount, will leave from Dublin for the festival site (having their bags and tents delivered for them, free of charge). There will be mechanics along the route, should anyone develop some cycle problems, as well as guides who will show you along the picturesque back roads that lead to Stradbally. Avoid the traffic, breathe in some fresh air and raise some money for Temple Street - the best way to travel to the best festival.
