Straight from the horse's mouth - Tom Waits will play a Dublin gig this year.

Waits released a spoof 'press conference' online the other day, which showed the legendary songwriter explain how the trajectory of his forthcoming North American 'Glitter and Doom' tour will be influenced by a night-time constellation. The tour stars in Phoenix, Arizona on June 17th and ends in Atlanta on July 5th, with the corresponding cities spelling out an acronym of the 'word' 'PEHDTSCKJMBA'.

When asked if Waits would be coming to Europe, he said: "We are actually going to Europe. The constellation ERADMUS is known for its wildly veering path, and it'll be controlling and dictating our path from Spain to Dublin. I'll be giving you more details as they emerge".
