The MOBO Awards took place in Liverpool last night, awarding those acts whose music is of black origin.

As expected, Tinie Tempah took home the award for Best Newcomer as well as picking upthe Best Video award for 'Frisky' ft Labrinth. However, he missed out on the gong for Best UK Act to X Factor boyband JLS, who also picked up Best Album for their self titled debut. He was also beaten in the Best Song category by N-Dubz for their track 'Playing With Fire' ft Mr Hudson. Losing to N-Dubz, that's gotta be a knock to the ego.

Meanwhile, Eminem scooped Best International Act, Plan B won Best UK R&B/Soul, and after the huge success of his unofficial World Cup song 'Waving Flags', K'Naan picked up the award for Best African Act.
