After their stunningly memorable performance at the Olympia and Slane Castle in 2007, Tinariwen will return to Dublin to play The Academy on October 17th 2009.
The group of Tuaregs from the Sahara desert mix their tradition style of Tishoumaren music with the electric guitars of rock and roll, and have become worldwide superstars since their performance at the Saharan Festival au Desert in 2001.
Tickets priced €28.50 including booking fee are on sale this Friday February 6th at 9.00 am.
