He is currently taking the box office by storm as futuristic nobility Paul Atreides in sci-fi epic 'Dune: Part Two'.

However, Timothée Chalamet's next role is something completely different, as he will play a young Bob Dylan in forthcoming biopic 'A Complete Unknown'.

Chalamet's role as the legendary singer had been previously announced and discussed of course, while the film, which is being directed by James Mangold, will chart Dylan's rise on the 1960s folk scene in New York having moved there from his native Minnesota.

Now, the first photos from the set show the 28-year-old actor as Dylan, lugging a battered guitar case and dressed in suitably authentic ''60s folk star' clothing.

'A Complete Unknown' is also set to star Elle Fanning as Sylvie Russo, Monica Barbaro as Joan Baez, Nick Offerman as Alan Lomax and Boyd Holbrook as Johnny Cash, while Edward Norton has replaced Benedict Cumberbatch as Pete Seeger after the English actor was forced to drop out due to scheduling conflicts.

The release date for the film is not yet set, but watch this space.
