Justin Timberlake seems to be taking the cue from Sean Parker, the character he played in the Oscar-winning movie The Social Network. Last week Timberlake took an ownership stake in MySpace after advertising group Specific Media bought the ailing company from News Corp for $35 million and Timberlake's manger Johnny Wright has been speaking about what Timberlake has planned. While he didn't announce any specifics, Wright told the Associated Press that Timberlake is planning to rebrand MySpace and a hub for music fans and musicians, with a focus on emerging artists. Timberlake will reveal details of his plan with a press conference on August 17th.
