Monaghan town will host the Harvest Time Blues festival this weekend (6th - 8th October), where the event - now in its 18th year - will host an eclectic list of acts across its three days and (very late!) nights.

Among the acts confirmed to play this year are Grainne Duffy, The Lost Brothers, Blind Boy Paxton, Boo Boo Davis from Drew, Mississippi in the heart of the Delta, Sharrie Williams and unique style of 'Rockin’ Gospel Blues', as well as Mud Morganfield, Smokin! Joe Kubek & Bnois King, Duke Robillard, Michael "Iron Man! Burks, with performances spread across the famous Marquee, The Market House's acoustic venue and a host of Blues Trail venues, where performances will be completely free of charge.
