Various members of some of the biggest rock bands on the planet have been enlisted for a very special cover.

Afghanistani project The Miraculous Love Kids/Girl With a Guitar is a musical group that was founded in 2015 by Lanny Cordola, an American musician who was touched by the plight of a girl he had met called Marsul. Her sisters were both killed by a suicide bomber in Kabul.

In previous years, the project has covered Brian Wilson's 'Love & Mercy' and enlisted him for the song.

Now, their latest effort is a take on Eurythmics synth-pop classic 'Sweet Dreams', which features an impressive cast of musicians. Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, Rami Jaffee of Foo Fighters, Kathy Valentine of The Go-Gos, as well as members of The Bangles, The Mc5 and The Bird & the Bee all feature.

The stripped-back song is certainly very different to the upbeat pop tune you're used to hearing.
