Those of us who have been to festivals in the past are fully aware of just how hard it can be to get yourself organised, out of the campsite and into the main arena on day two and day three.

In fact, a new study of 1000 people conducted by cider brand Orchard Thieves has shown that festival-goers spend an average of 12.5 hours a day in the campsite, and another 6 hours for sleeping.

That seems like a hell of a waste of time when there's so much going on at EP - so this year, Orchard Thieves have introduced a new area called The Bold mOTel, the festival's first-ever on-site motel that will reward those who get out of their tents and into the main arena early on both Saturday and Sunday.

It's officially open from 1pm - 2am on Saturday and 1pm - 12am on Sunday, although an opening party will take place from 7pm - late on Friday. If you want to gain entry, it'll be on a first come, first served basis from 1pm - 3pm on both days, and only people who've booked slots in advance will gain entry after that.

But what's in store for those who manage to make it in? Well, the highlight is an abandoned swimming pool that'll be turned into a disco dancefloor (think lilos, beach balls, whistles, poolside bar, lifeguard tower DJ box, etc.), while there'll also be pop-up performances and DJ sets, lip sync battles and opportunities to win lots of prizes. Those who arrive early enough will be given their very own room keycard and a party time-slot for them and their mates.

See the Orchard Thieves Facebook page for more on how to pre-book parties.
